IDCのレポート”PC Leaders Continue Growth And Share Gains As Market Remains Slow, According to IDC January 12, 2015“によると世界の各メーカー別PCシェアは以下の通りで、Appleは前年度同期比伸び率18.9%と伸び率が最も大きいものの、前回に引き続き5位に留まっています。

Apple kept the number 5 position on a worldwide basis, maintaining its lead over ASUS. The company’s steady growth, along with recent price cuts and improved demand in mature markets, has helped it to consistently outgrow the market.
また、TIMEやTech.pinionsのライターBen Bajarinによれば「IDCの（575万台というMac&iPadの売上が正しいなら）2014年の第4四半期の売上はこれまでで最高の記録だ」としており、

I’m pretty sure they are.
IDC projects that Apple sold 5.75 million Mac units during the holiday quarter and that 2.245 million of those machines were sold just in the United States. As Ben Bajarin notes, this 5.75 million number (if accurate) would mean that the 2014 holiday quarter is Apple’s best all-time quarter for Mac sales.

米Gartnerも同様にPC市場シェアのデータ”Gartner Says Worldwide PC Shipments Grew 1 Percent in Fourth Quarter of 2014“を公開しており、こちらのデータでは非Windowsタブレット（iPad）が除外されているためAppleはTop5から脱落し、代わりにASUSが5位となっているそうです。
